Evaluating the wear of cutting tools using a tunnel boring machine laboratory simulator

Purpose. One of the most common problems in mechanized excavation is cutting tool wear, which has a great impact on final cost project and its duration. Also, one important factors affecting wear tools operating parameters tunnel boring machine (TBM). Within framework this research, laboratory simulator was designed constructed to investigate process laboratory. Methods.
